Festivals in Barbados began with dancing and singing at Sugar Plantations to celebrate “Crop-Over” – the end of the annual sugar cane harvest (now culminating in Kadooment).
Golden Grove hosted 2 major “all-inclusive” Crop-Over parties in 2013 with over 3,000 people attending. We are available for hire to organizers of such privately-ticketed events during this special period.
But we can also provide celebrations all year and for many different sizes of guest lists!
Live entertainment was featured at 2 charity events in 2013 including music, dance and theatre on the Golden Grove stage.
We have had several smaller events and Golden Grove is ideal for Retirement parties, Staff Dinners, Special Birthdays and Anniversaries. The layout of the grounds and its various areas allows you to plan your event in the best possible location. Use of our existing decked tent, stage, garden bar and tables and chairs is also cost-effective for smaller events.
We can work with specialists to create memorable Corporate Functions, Fundraisers or Black Tie events given the unique nature of the location.
