Summer 2005 saw the completion of Golden Grove’s ‘Coach House’. Originally a series of outbuildings used to house the plantation’s carriages, The Coach House has been transformed into two studio-style apartments, with communal kitchen and dining facilities.

The renovation has been completed by maintaining and improving upon the traditional features of the building, and offers superior accommodation for 4-8 people.  Each apartment comprises: a downstairs living area with ‘multi-choice’ TV, local telephone and a double futon; a shower room / WC and an upstairs bedroom with air-conditioning and views over the garden and paddock through manually-operated sky-lights. The spacious, high-ceilinged dining room and light, airy kitchen adjoin Apartment 1 and the laundry room and additional WC adjoin apartment 2. Both apartments share the covered terrace to the rear, which overlooks a more private section of the garden close to the swimming pool.
