Welcome to Golden Grove, an original plantation house on the beautiful island of Barbados. Located close to the dramatic South East Coast, discover the laid-back tranquillity and breathtaking beauty of Barbados’ wild side.

 

The Plantation House was built in the 19th Century, and since then there have been many additions and improvements, resulting in a beautifully restored property, full of traditional character. Golden Grove combines a sense of Barbadian heritage with the freshness and luxury of an exclusive holiday villa.

Godfrey & Bettian Francis, our property manager and housekeeper, look forward to welcoming you to Golden Grove.

 

 

The property stands in its own grounds of about 4.5 acres. The gardens close to the house are beautiful, shady and well established, and the formal gardens to the front are perfect for hosting parties or events. The paddock to the rear is populated with tamarind, mango, coconut and cherry trees.

 

The plantation house is large and spacious, with plenty of room to sleep eight adults in the four large bedrooms. A large party, or extended family, perhaps celebrating that special occasion, can take full advantage of the freedom of both space and privacy.

A couple or small family group will enjoy the comfort and intimacy of an  individually tailored holiday in The Coach House - an independent studio apartment suite  on the Golden Grove Estate.
